Goodbye Christine!

After 26 years of dedicated service to Eastbourne School of English, Christine Hale leaves us to start a restaurant business in Malvern with her husband Manou.  During her long time at the school, Christine helped set up the multimedia learning centre, re-design the garden and, through her own passion for these subjects, developed our Special Focus programme in new areas such as Cooking.  We are very sad to see her go and wish her all the best in her new venture.

Her role of Summer Course Coordinator is being filled by senior teacher Graham Smith (pictured).  Graham has worked at the school since 1988 and previously taught in Japan, Mexico and London.  More recently he visited Argentina where he ran a month-long programme at a former student’s school in Esperanza.  Summer Plus is our most popular course with student numbers reaching 200 at the school in July and August.  We are confident that Graham will do a wonderful job!
