Charity bring and buy sale

Eastbourne School of English students raised £85.37 for the BBC's annual Children in Need charity appeal. Students and staff brought toys, gifts, cakes and chocolates to school for a "bring and buy" sale. Nearly everything was sold, but the Principal's cakes were much more popular than his Marmite sandwiches!
BBC Children in Need has been raising money for disadvantaged children since 1927. This year's appeal has so far raised over £20 million from fundraising efforts around the country but the final total is expected to be over £40 million.
