British Council Inspection

In April 2003 inspectors from the British Council spent two days with us looking at all aspects of our courses and student services.

We have just received a very positive report with "points of excellence" in every area inspected.

The full Publishable Statement from the British Council is on our homepage. Click here to view this page.

A Great Summer

It's official. This summer was the hottest on record in Britain with temperatures touching 39 degrees Celsius.

The hot weather brought lots of visitors to Eastbourne. Airborne, the four-day air show, was even more popular than ever and there were large crowds on the beach every day.

As always, the Red Arrows team gave a spectacular display with their nine fighter planes.

On that afternoon, it was very noisy in the School

Touring Switzerland

James Murphy, our Social Organiser spent his late summer holiday meeting old students from Switzerland. He visited Livia and Martina in Luzern, Conny in Wohlen, and Jana in Wil. He also met Ilona Bossart who every year brings a group of students from the Business School in Wil, and the Director of the School, Urs Thoma.

Good Luck Lindsay

Lindsay Carter, our Summer Social Organiser left at the end of August. She had a week’s holiday with friends in Hamburg, Germany and then started a teacher-training course at the University in Winchester.

We wish Lindsay the best of luck with this course and look forward to welcoming her back to the school next summer.
