Aromatherapy class
27th February 2009

Our first aromatherapy class was held at the school at the end of February as part of the Life Skills programme, offering students a chance try out some natural remedies and treatments.

Our visiting expert Lucy McCance explained how aromatherapy works and what the different oils are used for. The students pictured here are learning about the use of lavender oil through hand massage. Lavender's calming, relaxing, stress relieving, and healing properties are considered by many to be a natural, alternative remedy for a variety of common ailments ranging from anxiety, headaches, to insomnia.

Our increasingly popular English Intensive Life Skills classes focus on communication, building confidence and learning English through interest in the subject.
