English Intensive

January – June, September – December

15 General English lessons per week, 0900-1245, Monday to Friday

plus

8 Special Focus lessons, 1345-1600, Monday to Friday (not Wednesday)

BEC examination preparation, Business English

Social English, speaking and listening skills, English for international travel

Also includes life skill classes in cooking, yoga, karate, modern dance … and lots more

IELTS Intensive

January – June, September - December

15 General English lessons per week, 0900-1245, Monday to Friday plus 8 Intensive IELTS preparation lessons, 1345-1600, Monday to Friday (not Wednesday)

English plus Golf

March – October

Eastbourne has some excellent golf courses on the beautiful South Downs and overlooking the English Channel.

15 General English lessons per week, 0900-1245, Monday to Friday plus 3 afternoon rounds of golf per week.  A professional golfer leads all golf lessons.  Maximum 4 per group for golf lessons.  Includes hire of clubs and green fees.  Transport to and from the golf courses is also included.

English plus Tennis

All year

Eastbourne is a top venue for tennis.  The famous International Women’s Open Championship takes place every June at Devonshire Park, Eastbourne.  Our expert coaches will help you to improve your game.

15 General English lessons per week, 0900-1245, Monday to Friday plus 3 afternoon tennis sessions per week at indoor David Lloyd Centre, Eastbourne.  Each session is run by a professional tennis coach and lasts one hour. Maximum 6 per group for tennis coaching lessons.  Transport to and from the tennis centre is included.

Teacher Training : Preparation for Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT)

January and August, 2 week course, 25 hours per week

The University of Cambridge’s new TKT test focuses on the teaching knowledge needed by teachers of primary, secondary and adult learners.  You will learn about different teaching methodologies, the language of teaching, use of resources, lesson planning and classroom management.
