British Council
The Accreditation Scheme assesses the standards of management, resources and premises, teaching and welfare, and accredits organisations that meet the overall standard in each area inspected.

The British Council inspected and accredited Eastbourne School of English in June 2007:
"This private language school offers courses in general English for adults.
Points of excellence were noted in aspects of premises, academic resources, teachers’ qualifications and accommodation.

English UK
English UK was established in 2004. It is a merger of ARELS and BASELT, the two associations representing private and public accredited English language institutions. English UK represents the interests of member organisations and helps them to promote their courses all over the world.
